COVID Safety Guidelines
We’re working to deliver a combination of virtual and hybrid events to ensure accessibility for all of our community, while aiming to keep our community safe & healthy. Noting the inequity of how the pandemic affects different intersections of our community, particularly those with disabilities.
We ask that you please review our below guidelines prior to an in-person event:
If you are not feeling well before an event, please stay home and attend the event online if available.
Out for Australia will be providing N95 masks at every in-person event. We encourage you to take one & wear it throughout the event. For more information on why we recommend using N95 masks, check out this video. In addition, hand sanitiser will be available at the venue.
To reduce risk of transmission at our events, we will be asking that any attendees are vaccinated, with vaccination status to be checked upon entry.
If you do test positive within 3 days of an event, please let us know through this anonymous survey. This will enable us to let other attendees know that there may have been transmission at an event.
Please note that all of our volunteers attending in-person events will have completed COVID safety training and worked with the venue providers to ensure the event aligns to state guidelines & the above requirements.
If you have any questions regarding how we hold our events, please contact info@outforaustralia.org.
